Tragic End for Influencer Couple Duchess Dior and The Frenchman in Apparent Murder-Suicide Following Livestream Argument
American social media influencers Duchess Dior (Zaria Khadejah Carr, 27) and her husband Shamarcus Carr, known as The Frenchman (36), are at the center of a shocking incident that culminated in their deaths, following a disturbing argument aired live on Facebook. The tragedy has ignited widespread discussion across social media platforms, highlighting concerns about domestic violence, mental health, and the public nature of online relationships.
The distressing events unfolded on Saturday, June 14, 2025, when the couple engaged in a heated dispute during a Facebook Live session. During the livestream, both Duchess Dior and The Frenchman publicly accused each other of infidelity, with the tension rapidly escalating. Followers of the couple noted that this was not their first public clash, with many claiming a history of a toxic and allegedly abusive relationship, including previous reports of physical assault against Duchess Dior by her husband.
Infidelity Accusations and STI Claims
During the live broadcast, ‘The Frenchman’ explicitly accused Duchess Dior of cheating during their marriage and further alleged that she had infected him with a sexually transmitted infection (STI). He claimed, “She went to the doctor, got on the table, and said, ‘I’m gonna get tested because you’re messing with these hoes.’ And the doctor said he was going to do the test… When the results came back, she had herpes. Nine out of ten, we have herpes. These are facts.” Duchess Dior vociferously denied these accusations in real-time during the livestream, defending herself against the claims.
The Shooting Incident and Tragic Deaths
Later that evening, around 9:30 PM, police responded to a domestic disturbance call at the couple’s residence. Upon arrival, Duchess Dior was discovered dead from apparent gunshot wounds. In a now-viral clip from the livestream, she could be heard saying: “He’s getting mad because he doesn’t like the truth coming out.”
After the alleged shooting, The Frenchman reportedly fled the scene in a black 2021 Dodge Challenger. He was located approximately two and a half hours later, around 11 PM, having reportedly shot himself inside the vehicle. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he died shortly thereafter.
