The spotlight was on showbiz celebrities who successfully transitioned into parliamentary roles, with many showcasing their stunning outfits and polished appearances on this historic day.

Notable figures such as Ningo-Prampram MP Sam George, the famed Phyllis Naa Koryoo who won the Awutu Senya West seat over Hawa Koomson, and the NDC’s Elikplim Akurugu, who claimed the traditionally NPP-held ‘Dome Kwabenya’ seat, were among those who were spotted looking all ‘lit’ up.

Also, musician-turned-social commentator Kwame A Plus, who contested as an independent candidate and won the Gomoa Central seat, arrived in a dashing suit with his wife, Akosua Vee, in an equally stylish attire.

Traditional rulers, family members, and friends of the newly elected legislators also attended the ceremony, which unfolded peacefully.
