Top musicians to perform at West African Music Festival

About twenty top notable musicians across West Africa are expected to perform at the maiden edition of the West African Music Festival scheduled for the 18th of December 2021 at Alliance Francaise in Accra.

The musicians including Amandzeba, Blakk Rasta, BigTwins, King Ayisoba, Smart Nkansah, Big Brain all from Ghana, Sylvette from France, Metaphore Crew from Niger, Mary B Jah from Cameroon, Xlnc Family from Ghana, DJ Absolute from Benin Gabon, Padmore Oware from USA, Saymone and Masa Deme from Burkina Faso, and Koara Culture Group from Ghana are expected to entertain patrons.

According to Big Twins who are the organizers of the festival, through their international performances and tours, they realized that there is the need to create the West African Music Festival because West Africa has rich culture and music.

“Festivals bring people together, and also gives an opportunity for musicians to learn and be exposed so we believe through our rich culture and music, we can use the festival as a vehicle to sell it,” they said.

The festival will be held annually and in December.

As to what people should expect, the organizers said they should expect good music across Africa whiles they have fun and entertain themselves.
