Tiwa Savage dragged for showing her waist tattoo to Peller, Jarvis during TikTok live

Afrobeats diva Tiwa Savage has drawn fire for showing her waist tattoo while on a TikTok live with two teenage TikTok influencers, Peller and Jarvis.

The Afrobeats artist was asked to participate in a live session with the two content creators, during which she answered questions, displayed her collection of tattoos, and discussed their meaning.

However, what set off the criticism was when Tiwa Savage gave Peller and Jarvis a glimpse of a tattoo around her waist by slightly pulling down her jeans.

Taking to social media, several netizens voiced their displeasure, claiming that the action was inappropriate given the young audience watching the live stream. Given the seniority and stature of Peller and Jarvis, they believed that Tiwa Savage had gone too far in her actions. Critics contended that Tiwa Savage ought to have exercised greater caution with her appearance when interacting with younger people, given her status as a role model.

However, numerous fans stood up for the singer, pointing out that the uproar was exaggerated and that she was just showcasing her tattoo.
