Tinubu, Shettima present their Certificates of Return to President Buhari

President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima on Wednesday, March 1, presented their Certificate of Return to President Muhammadu Buhari at his Daura country home, Katsina State.

This occurred after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared Bola Tinubu the winner of the 2023 presidential election that took place on Saturday, February 25.

It was stated that the members of the Progressives Governors’ Forum (NGF) and the party’s National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu who accompanied Tinubu and Shettima on a thank you visit to the president after the party’s victory.

This was mentioned in a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.

In the photos shared on social media, Bola Tinubu and Shettima presented their certificates of Return which was handed over to them by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja.
