TikToker SeaKing released from police custody

TikToker Olumide Ogunsanwo, popularly known as SeaKing, has been released from police custody.

SeaKing was arrested on allegations of cyberbullying and cyberstalking the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore took to his social media page to share a photo of SeaKing smiling in a car and stated that the Tik Tok personality has been released from detention.

He indicated that he was a signatory to the administrative bail.

“We are pleased to confirm that Olumide Ogunsanwo @seaking303 has been released from @PoliceNG custody after our prompt rejection of the initial bail condition requiring a Level 12 or 10 civil servant, resulting in a swift agreement and release on administrative bail, signed by me,” Sowore wrote.

His post garnered several reactions from Nigerians on social media who took to his comment section to share their thoughts.

@Wangeltweets: Welcome home buddy. All the corrupt leaders gho dey collect wotowoto

@Comeback_snarky: I like that radical people are meeting more radical people…

@AlMuhaaz: Thank you Sir, and Kudos to everyone that was involved to get him released

@Palermo_seun: The clergyman he offended pleaded on his behalf. We all saw the video of him asking the police to allow the young man to go. You should commend Pastor Adeboye for being honourable.

@HM_HeadMaster: Sowore the Lion of Nigeria

We Stand with you always comrade President cos we know you stand with us even before we knew it .

Congratulations Seaking and Welcome back to the Outside world Abi na Craze man world as Fela called it.

@Olalekanakogun: The “seaking” is beginning to spend more time on land and behind bars, not sure that’s good enough for him.

He who wants to liberate must first be free!

@Nairaexchanger: Although I don’t agree with the group he’s chosen to align with, I deeply respect his courage and bravery in speaking his mind.

@Imeeeokon: While his abduction was illegal, Mr Olumide should be advised not to insult people online. We are all in pain for what our leaders have done to us, but that be said, disrespect and abuses are not the way forward.
