Thunder kills man and his wife in Central Region

A husband and his wife have reportedly been struck to death by thunder in Assin Andoe Sibo Nkwanta in the Assin South District of the Central Region of Ghana.

The husband has been identified as Emmanuel Botwey 27 and his wife has also been identified as Rita Nketia 26.

According to Papa Yaw Mensah who is the father of the Rita Nketia, he witnessed the whole incident and the married couple died instantly when they got struck by the thunder.

The incident happened today, 11th April 2019 and details of the incident are still coming in. From what we have gathered so far, the incident happened at the farm of the couple.
