Thomas Partey in full flow as Arsenal thrashes Real Madrid 3-0 in UCL quarter-final first leg

The Black Stars’ midfield enforcer started the quarter-final first-leg tie at Emirates Stadium and played the entire match.

Giving everything for the team, Partey finished the game with a rating of 7.0, contributing to what will be a memorable victory for him and his Arsenal teammates for years to come.

Both teams created chances in the first half, but neither side was able to break the deadlock.

The breakthrough came in the 58th minute when midfielder Declan Rice scored with a stunning strike from a direct free kick.

In the 70th minute, Rice struck again, scoring another fantastic free kick to double Arsenal’s lead.

With Real Madrid unable to respond, Arsenal sealed the game with a third goal five minutes later, courtesy of a strike from Mikel Merino, assisted by Myles Lewis-Skelly.

This big win gives Thomas Partey and his Arsenal teammates a huge advantage heading into the reverse fixture next week.
