Thief arrested after allegedly stealing five Uber vehicle doors at Madina Zongo Junction
A suspected thief has been arrested by residents at Madina Zongo Junction in Accra after he was allegedly caught attempting to steal another vehicle door from an Uber car.

However, his alleged activities came to an end when he returned to the same location later in the morning. At about 8:00 a.m., residents reportedly noticed the suspect as he allegedly attempted to remove another door from a vehicle.
His actions reportedly raised suspicion among members of the community, who quickly moved in and apprehended him.
Witnesses said the suspect was confronted by residents and allegedly admitted to stealing the vehicle doors. He reportedly pleaded for mercy after being caught, as residents questioned him about the alleged thefts.
The situation reportedly became tense as some angry residents allegedly slapped the suspect repeatedly before other members of the community intervened and handed him over to the police.
The suspect was subsequently taken to the nearest police station, where he is expected to assist with investigations into the alleged thefts.
