These are Nigerians who will join Nicki Minaj on Pink Friday tour

Trinidad-born rapper Nicki Minaj has chosen a talented young Nigerian violinist to join her Pink Friday World Tour.

Violinist Lucia Okeh captured the attention of the rapper on social media with her impressive rendition of her song “Falling for U”.

Lucia said Nicki Minaj’s ‘Falling 4 U’ is one of her favorites off the rapper’s album and she hopes that Nicki Minaj loves her rendition as much as she does.

Nicki Minaj was moved and impressed by her performance and invited her to perform along with ballads on her Pink Friday tour.

She wrote: “Remember the Nigerian Barb? She is one of the girls playing the violin in the ballad section, cause I loved the rendition she did of ‘Fallin 4 U’. (…) They are up there looking larger than life.”

Lucia reacted by saying: “@NICKIMINAJ I am writing to you, to let you know how much I love and appreciate you for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime, I do not take it for granted. Love always.”
