There is nothing I can do – Rev. Kusi Boateng on missed election prophecy

Rev. Kusi Boateng, Founder of Power Chapel Worldwide, has candidly addressed the outcome of Ghana’s 2024 presidential elections, acknowledging the gap between his prophecy and the actual results.

The preacher, who had confidently prophesied a victory for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, admitted his surprise at the overwhelming win of John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking during a sermon, Rev. Boateng reflected on his spiritual journey, saying, “The same way God has been speaking to me over the years, He spoke to me, but the opposite occurred.

“The Bible says let God be true and let all men be liars. I saw right, I heard right, but the opposite has occurred. There is nothing I can do.”

He described the moment as a humbling experience that deepened his understanding of divine communication, adding, “There are times that you feel you know Him so much, but you come to a place where He starts and redefines Himself to you.”

While acknowledging the difficulty of explaining the election outcome, Rev. Boateng emphasized his unwavering faith, noting that his experience serves as a reminder of the complexity of spiritual matters.
