Known to be an outspoken person, the NPP executive was without much of his toughness when he stood before a queen mother of the Bono Region.
In the 35-seconds video shared by Angel FM Kumasi 96.1 on Facebook, Abronye first goes to greet the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, who welcomes him in a very warm way.
Following that, as can be seen in the video, the NPP leader moved to his right and stretched his hand, while still standing, to greet the queen mother seated to the left of the Dormaahene.
But the stern-looking queen mother refused to meet his handshake gesture, but rather ordered him, with her fingers indicating so, to go on his knees.
After this, she then extends her hand to him and while still gesturing at him in a way as if to caution him, said some words to Abronye.
Although what the queen mother said to Abronye was not audible, it did not appear like she was having an amiable conversation with him.
It is unclear which event this happened at but many social media users have termed the moment a ‘smoothness level’ period for Abronye, seeing that on most days, he can be quite outspoken and commanding in his utterances.
