Tems performs Bob Marley’s ‘No Woman, No Cry’ in official teaser for Black Panther

Award-winning Nigerian singer, Tems, has received several accolades from fans after she sang a stunning cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman, No Cry” in the official trailer for Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

The song plays through the first half of the trailer when the line “Everything’s going to be alright” is replaced by Kendrick Lamar’s “We gon’ be alright,” which then plays until the very end of the clip.

The trailer stars Lupita Nyong’o, Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Danai Gurira, and Winston Duke among others.

Nigerians have since taken to Tems Instagram page to shower her praises on her latest accomplishment.
