Teen, 17, shot dead
As Manenberg residents continue to voice their concerns over ongoing gang violence in the area, a teenage boy was shot dead on Saturday morning.
According to police, the teen ran for cover but the gunman, whose identity is unknown, followed him and eventually killed him in Storms River Way, Manenberg around 10:00.
The gunman then fled in a silver Mercedes-Benz, according to Western Cape police spokesperson Captain Frederick van Wyk.
A murder case has been opened.
