BREAKING NEWS: Kumawood actor stabbed to death [PHOTOS]

 

Information reaching thepressradio.com indicate that Kumawwood actor and make-up artist popularly known as Abdulai Blinks has been stabbed to death this afternoon by unknown person.

According to report A 35 year old Kumawood actor, Nurudeen Abass, popularly known as ‘Blinks’ has been stabbed to death at Aboabo-Akrem in the Asokore-Mampong municipality in the Ashanti region on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

 

 

The actor, known for his villain movies roles, met his untimely death in an attempt to intervene in a tussle between his master’s wife and her brothers at Akrem, according to Manhyia Divisional Police commander, ACP Kweku Buah.

ACP Buah told Otec News the murderers, Tijani and Abbas, attacked the victim with knives and stabbed him in the ribs and back, who thought Blinks was “uninvited” in a quarrel between them and their sister, at about 10:30 in the morning.

“Blinks with blood over his body managed to run away but collapsed and felt unconscious. Passerby rushed to him, sent him to the Manhyia Government Hospital where he was pronounced dead by arrival at 11:05 in the same morning,” ACP Buah narrated.

“The police will do everything to crack down on the murderers, we know them so they should make themselves available for investigation,” he warned

The body has since been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for autopsy.

He has starred in several movies alongside Kwadwo Nkansah ‘Lil Win’, Akrobeto, Christiana Awuni, Akua Ataac ‘Kyeiwaa’, Agya Koo, Akrobeto and other top Kumawood stars.
