MP sends Military men to protect his Kete-Krachi home, company after Dambai emerged Oti capital

The Member of Parliament for Krachi East, Michael Yaw Gyato has incurred the wrath of residents of Kete-Krachi for after Dambai, and not them, emerged capital of the Oti region.

This situation has led the NPP MP to employ the services of military men to protect his Kete-Krachi home and other companies he owns in the area.

Readers of MyNewsGh.com will recall how all the Churches of Kete-Krachi declared a joint prayer tower with fasting and prayers for God to influence and touch the heart of President Akufo-Addo to make them the capital of Oti Region. The capital eventually went to Dambai.

Michael Gyato’s parliamentary constituents are the people of Dambai while he grew up in Kete-Krachi, built a house there and owns streams of businesses there too.

The Krachi East District is surrounded by the Nkwanta South District and Nkwanta North District to the north, the Kadjebi District to the east, the new Krachi District and the Volta Lake to the west and the Jasikan District to the south.
