I have received slaps for NDC – Hannah Bissiw

Former Member of Parliament for Tano South has reiterated her commitment to uphold the tenets of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Dr. Hannah Louisa Bissiw said the NDC is in her blood and nothing under the sun will force her to change her allegiance to the party.

The former MP made the comment on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday, while discussing reasons why she should be elected National Women’s Organizer of the party.

She said over the years even as a grassroots person, her human relations, competence and eloquence in communicating her thoughts and party policies have made the NDC very attractive.

Hanna Bissiw cited how she was able to even convince hard-core New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters to vote for the NDC IN 2012 to buttress her point.

The former Tano South MP also recounted how she received dirty slaps at a polling station all because she was ensuring the NDC is not shortchanged in an election to demonstrate her commitment to the advancement of the NDC.

She believes she has demonstrated beyond any reasonable doubt that, she has the NDC at heart thus if, given the nod as National Women’s Organizer, she will work to bring the party back to power.

Hannah Bissiw called on NDC delegates to see her as the obvious choice and vote massively for her in the November primaries.
