‘I lived in a single room despite being a celebrity’– Skrewfaze cries

Ghanaian hiplife singer Jehoshaphat Kwabena Eshun, popularly known as Skrewfaze, has recounted how he lost his wealth, resulting in him living in a single room despite his celebrity status.

In a live TikTok video, the “Gbalagazaa” hitmaker disclosed that some poor decisions he made during his prime led to his downfall.

“I lost everything, I was living in a single room, I know some people will say why didn’t I save, yes I saved but there is a way life will hit you and no matter who you are, you can lose everything,” Screwfaze who currently resides abroad said.

He also opened up on the emotional toll of his situation, stating that his family abandoned him during his depression, and his wife prevented him from seeing their children.

“My family members abandoned me, I was depressed, and even my wife didn’t want anything to do with me, she even prevented me from my children because I made some wrong decisions and refused to listen to advice,” he added.

Singer Skrewfaze has collaborated with dozens of Ghanaian musicians, amounting to almost 200 songs.

He has features with musicians like Castro, Shiloh, Mz Bell, KK Fosu, and many others.
