C/R: Man, 47, chops off his genital while dreaming at Assin Akomfode

A 47-year-old Man Kofi Atta, popularly known as Wofa Atta is currently battling for his life at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital in Assin Fosu after he mysteriously cut off his sex organ with a knife while dreaming.

The victim who comes from Assin Akomfode in the Assin North District of the Central Region is said to have had a dream on Friday, August 12, 2022, that he was cutting goat meat to help his wife prepare an even meal in a dream.

But he suddenly realized that he was rather cutting away his penis

The victim’s wife, Adwoa Konadu who traveled before the incident said she had a distress call from a neighbor that her husband is bleeding profusely after he cut off his manhood with a sharpened knife.

She quickly rushed home and found her husband sitting on a chamber pot in a pull of blood with his penis in his hand.

Without delay, she bought diapers to support her husband’s almost severed manhood and quickly rushed him to the hospital to seek medical attention.

Though the victim has been referred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi for further treatment, he is still stuck in Assin Fosu due to financial constraints.

The victim, who didn’t sound audible due to the pain he was going through said he thought he was cutting meat in the dream not knowing he was cutting his penis.
