Opambour curses Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah over Afia Pokuaa clash

Controversial Ghanaian prophet Ebenezer Opambour Yiadom, widely known as Prophet 1, has unleashed curses on Angel FM journalist Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah.

This comes after the journalist criticised the prophet for allegedly threatening Ghanaians with curses.

In a video shared by Gossip 24 TV on November 19, 2024, Prophet 1 is seen cursing Afrifa-Mensah, declaring that he and his children would suffer and fail to achieve prosperity in the future.

“The young man said Afia Pokuaa said something, and I became angry over nothing, and I also like curses. I have not been to the shrine before. You (Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah), if you ever get angry over comments raised by even your children and family members, may you suffer till death.

“Your generations would also meet this curse. If you also get angry if you hear a family member has been insulted by a kid, you will suffer. Your kids would not be prominent in the future; they would be of no benefit,” he declared.

The feud reportedly stems from remarks Afrifa-Mensah made about Prophet Opambour following a clash involving journalist Afia Pokuaa.

Meanwhile, Prophet Kumchacha, who appeared on Afrifa-Mensah’s show, has urged both parties to resolve their differences peacefully.

“I came on your show today to place an injunction on the dispute between you and Opambour. When an issue like this comes on social media, and you comment on it, it creates business for some people to feed on,” Kumchacha stated.
