Stop bleaching with injections – Owusu Bempah slams Korankye Ankrah

Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has accused Apostle General Sam Korankye Ankrah of skin bleaching.

According to him, the Royalhouse chapel overseer resorts to all kinds of skin whitening injections and pills that has given him a lighter skin tone.

Rev Bempah emphasized that Apostle Ankrah had a dark skin when they both lived in Kumasi until he later moved to Accra to establish his ministry.

“Sam Korankye Ankrah injects himself with skin whitening products in order to be fair. At the time I knew him he was a much darker person but now he is very fair. Ladies have a particular injection meant for bleaching and that is exactly what he is using now. When I first came to Accra and saw him I was shocked because I’ve known him for so many years,” he said

Owusu Bempah challenged the Apostle General to produce any of his pictures taken 10 years ago and beyond for comparison.

“Sam Korankye Ankrah should bring out pictures he took 10 years ago for us to make comparisons. You call yourself a man of God and yet you inject your body and pop whitening pills all the time. You are doing all these, and you still want to condemn a preacher. If I really bleach, I’ll talk about it and nothing can be done to me,” he added.

The General Overseer of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah, a few days ago said that fake Pastors usually have bleached faces and mostly flaunt their wealth on social media.

The preacher who didn’t mention any names said Christians bracing skin bleaching have sinned against God as he places a high value on our bodies as well as our hearts.

Some media houses that picked up the issue accompanied their stories with pictures of Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah implying that he is one of the pastors Rev Korankye Ankrah was referring to.

But defending himself on Kofi TV, Rev Owusu Bempah noted that he is naturally fair and all who have known him from his young days can attest to that adding that he might have looked a little dark during those times because he was poor.

“Everyone who knows Owusu Bempah who was called Libya is a fair person but when you are poor you sometimes don’t have money to buy body cream to use after bathing. When God bless you with money you will be able to afford cream for your body.”

“There are creams and soaps for bleaching and creams that bring out your colour…so I won’t use skin colour to determine who real prophets and false prophets are,” he added.
