Dr. Bawumia behaving like a ‘hapless’ serial caller – Anita Desoso

A National Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Anita Desooso, has likened Dr. Bawumia’s recent comment to former President Mahama to a political serial caller who calls into radio stations to rant over issues.

“Bawumia is behaving like a serial caller, is he our Vice President?” She said on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Friday.

According to Anita Desoso, Vice President Dr. Bawumia must desist from purporting to be educating former President Mahama on national issues since John Mahama is far knowledgeable.

The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia took a swipe at John Mahama over the latter’s criticism of the Nana Addo-led government in his quest to run the presidency in 2020.

John Mahama has in recent times criticized the incumbent for not fulfilling its numerous promises after pleading with the NDC delegates to vote him back to lead the party into the 2020 elections to continue the good works he started.

However, Vice President Bawumia questioned if “that incompetent one [Mahama] wants to come back again”.

But Anita Desoso said the Vice President’s response to his predecessor was merely propaganda and doesn’t depict someone who is holding a high office in the country.

“Listening to the Vice President, one could mistake him for a hapless NPP serial caller repeating the propaganda lines that they became so enamored of in the run-up the 2016 elections. I am the queen of serial callers and I know how my people behave. That is exactly what the Vice President is doing now. he is behaving like a serial caller,” he told host Mac-Jerry Osei Agyeman.
