28-year-old man allegedly killed in Koforidua

A 28-year-old man has allegedly been killed at Pipeline, a suburb of New Juaben North Municipality in the Eastern Region.

The incident was noticed in the early hours of Tuesday, 23 July 2024.

The victim was identified as Ibrahim, a resident of Krobo Junction.

The police and officials of the National Disaster Management Organization team immediately secured the scene to prevent further disturbances and to facilitate a thorough investigation.

The body of Ibrahim Ahmed has been transported to St. Joseph Mortuary, where a post-mortem examination will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

The Effiduase District Police Command has initiated a full-scale investigation into the incident.

Kankam Twumasi Daniel, Deputy Municipal Director of NADMO NJNMA, stated, “We are committed to supporting the police in their efforts to resolve this case swiftly and to ensure the safety and well-being of our community members.”

The New Juaben North Municipality has been recording such killings since last year.
