How Gabby, Afenyo-Markin, NPP bigwigs graced Akufo-Addo’s birthday party

The 81st birthday celebration of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at his private residence in Nima, Accra, was filled with joy, excitement, and memorable moments.

Several prominent figures of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) gathered in large numbers to celebrate and honour the life of the former president.

The event was attended by notable figures such as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the former Vice President, and his wife Samira Bawumia, former Second Lady; Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, a prominent figure in the party; Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin, the Minority Leader; Samuel Abu Jinapor, and several others.

Clad in white outfits, pictures shared by Gabby Otchere-Darko captured some light-hearted and heartwarming moments, including a shot of the former president and his vice engaged in conversation.

The camera lenses also captured Asante Bediatuo, Kow Essuman, Afenyo-Markin, and Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko beaming with smiles while posing for the camera.

“Today was a relaxing afternoon of thanks and praise at Nima, where many family and friends, including Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Hon.Alexander kwamina Afenyo-Markin, Francis Asenso-Boakye MP, Nana Adjoa Hackman Otchere-Darko, Abu Jinapor, Kow Essuman, Paa Kwesi Yankey, Samira Bawumia and Nana Asante Bediatuo joined Auntie Rebecca Akufo-Addo and our boss Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at home for his 81st birthday lunch,” Gabby wrote on Facebook on March 30, 2025.

The former President turned 81 on March 29, 2025.
