Beautiful moment as Oguaamanhene swiftly orders his umbrella to lower for the Asantehene

It was a brief moment of prompt action but it has become one of the talking points online as many online users are celebrating the Oguaamanhene, Osaberima Kwesi Atta II for showing high reverence to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

In a short video clip shared on TikTok, the Oguaamanhene is seen in a high-level entourage consisting of the Asantehene, Sir Sam Jonah, Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast; the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum; among others.

The video was captured from UCC where recently, the university held a special event to confer on the Asantehene an honorary doctorate degree.

In the video, the Oguaamanhene, who is walking ahead of the entourage, quickly signals to his umbrella-bearer, who had momentarily moved in to cover his head with it, to rather lower it.

It was, as has been shared online by many, in respect to the Asantehene, who was only about two steps behind him.

Even more significant, as many online users have shared, is that this happened in the very backyard of the Oguaamanhene, and should not have been much of a problem if he did have his umbrella over his head even in that moment.
