Suspected motorbike thief tied to light pole and brutalised at Amenfi East

Luck eluded a young man suspected of stealing motorbikes in the Amenfi East Municipality in the Western Region as he was caught by some visibly angry residents.

In a video shared on social media platform, X, the alleged suspect was seen being subjected to brutal treatment, including having his stomach hit several times by a heavily built man while handcuffed to an electric pole.

The suspect, who could not bear the pain he was going through, could be heard pleading for forgiveness as his captors continued assaulting him.

Meanwhile, in Accra, a motorbike rider, who’s a phone snatcher narrowly escaped with his life at Dansoman, after he snapped someone’s phone

But his motorbike which he left behind while fleeing with the phone was set ablaze by residents who witnessed the scene.
