Surprise Kylian Mbappe to Arsenal transfer confirmation emerges amid £60m wage issue

The striker told the Parisians that he would not be extending his stay at the Ligue 1 champions meaning he will become a free agent when his deal expires. Speculation has been mounting over his future for some time now but there remains no confirmed deal in place.

Real Madrid are heavy favourites to land the France international due to their capability of affording his astronomical wage demands. Mbappe reportedly earned over £5m per month in the last two years at PSG, totalling over £60m per year.

His wage demands have automatically ruled out a move to the Premier League after Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United were only tentatively

However, according to YouTube sensation iShowSpeed, the 25-year-old will snub a move to the Spanish giants to join Arsenal for what would be one of the biggest deals in the Gunners history.

While watching Fabrizio Romano tell his 24.4 million subscribers that Mbappe is set to join Madrid, the YouTuber has suggested that those reports are wide of the mark and claimed he would move to north London.

“He’s not going to Real Madrid, he’s not going. I promise you,” he said. “Don’t ask me how I know but he’s not going. Trust me. I’ve got the real insight. Trust me.”

He continued: “I’m going to tell you all where he is going. Don’t ask me how I know, but watch how he doesn’t go [to] Real Madrid. And he’s going [to] Arsenal. You only heard it from me, you only heard it from me.”

While the thought of Mbappe joining Mikel Arteta’s side is exciting, it’s almost impossible to believe the social media sensation.
