Super Lig: Osimhen dedicates brace to Icardi

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen delivered another remarkable performance for Galatasaray in the Super Lig on Sunday, November 10.

The 25-year-old scored his second consecutive brace to help Galatasaray to a hard-fought 3-2 win over Samsunspor.

The Super Eagles striker gave his side the lead in the 3rd minute of the game and restored the lead in the 55th minute after Olivier Ntcham cancelled out his goal from the spot.

The reigning African Footballer of the Year dedicated his two goals to his injured striking partner Mauro Icardi.

Osimhen celebrated his goals by hoisting the number nine shirt of the Argentine international, who was supporting the team from the stands.

Icardi sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in Galatasaray’s 3-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League.

Osimhen has so far registered eight goals and four assists in nine appearances in the Super Lig and the Europa League since joining the club in early September.
