Super Eagles player lands in trouble for going to watch Osimhen against AC Milan

The Serie B club is set to take disciplinary actions against the former Crotone striker as they deem his behaviour as unprofessional.

The trip to Naples by the 4-capped Super Eagles striker has caused a stir among the club’s management and fans as they believe that the player should remain focused at this critical stage of the season.

Benevento are currently battling to avoid relegation to Serie C and Nwankwo has failed to score in his last 22 games for the club.

Simy Nwankwo, who had gone to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium to support his Nigerian brother was also seen together with some Nigerian celebrities including PSquare and Cubana Chief Priest.

It is unclear which disciplinary action will be meted out to the Nigerian international.

In the game itself, Osimhen scored a late equalizer as Napoli played out a 1-1 draw with the Rossoneri to crash out from the UCL in the quarterfinals on a 2-1 aggregate.
