Sue me if the documents are fake – Basintale dares National Cathedral boss

Malik Basintale, the Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has dared the CEO of the National Cathedral, Dr Paul Opoku-Mensah, to take a legal action against him if the document he provided concerning payments he received is fake.

This is as a result of an allegation made by the NDC communication officer on September 25, 2024, that Dr Opoku-Mensah is paid GH¢21,000 every month by the government despite the suspension of the project.

In a post shared on X by Malik, he showed a May 2024 pay slip that belongs to the CEO of the National Cathedral project, which he described as the world’s most expensive hole.

Malik expressed worry over the fact that those involved in this corruption act will not be held accountable together with the CEO.

“Good morning, folks…

“This is another (May 2024) pay slip of the CEO of the World’s most expensive hole (National Cathedral).

“I have dared, Dr. Paul Opoku-Mensah to sue me if this is fake.

“Now, to confirm the document, kindly follow the steps:

“Dial: *711*9#. Input the S.S.F (SNNIT) Number on the pay slip and follow prompt to see his details.

“The sad part is that is NPP “Zombies” writing fake fake will not be those to account, so they are free. Dr. Paul Opoku- Mensah himself will be the one crying
More soon….” the post indicated.
