Stonebwoy shares video of river polluted by galamsey; expresses disgust

Dancehall artist Stonebwoy has expressed worry over the state in which mining is destroying the greenery and water bodies in Ghana.

The artist, who was in Samreboi last week to perform at the coronation of Samatex as winners of the Ghana Premier League, shared videos of the state of river bodies in the Western Region.

He has previously complained bitterly about how lands and water bodies have been destroyed as a result of mining, even though the country does not earn as much from this destruction.

The Dancehall artist asked Ghanaians to focus on the message he is preaching and not on him, the messenger, in order to help get the needed results and response for the general good of the country.

His post, shared via social media accompanied by a video of a polluted river, said, “The Message. The Message. Not The Messenger. I love Ghana flag:gh Video about a week ago… @kobby”
