Ghanaian Afrobeat singer Kelvin Brown, popularly known as Kelvyn Boy, has disclosed that he and his management have been attempting to resolve thier long-standing feud with Stonebwoy for the past five years, but their efforts have been unsuccessful.
In an interview on Hitz FM, the “Down Flat” hitmaker stated, “When it comes to me and Stonebwoy’s issue, I have been trying for the past five years to patch things up with him but no results.”
He added that every time he tries to settle their differences, Stonebwoy rejects the offer.
“I have even forgotten what happened between us because it has been 5 years, and anytime I try to resolve our unsettled dispute, I don’t think he is ready to listen to us, so I dey,” he explained.
The two artistes collaborated on the song “Na You,” released in 2018, which has garnered over 1.3 million views on YouTube.
In January 2019, Stonebwoy parted ways with his mentee Kelvyn Boy after the latter was signed to Burniton Music Group.
Their split was reportedly due to misunderstandings that arose during their time together.
According to reports, although there was an option for Stonebwoy to renew the contract, Kelvyn Boy’s conduct, particularly the disrespect shown during his time with the BHIM Nation boss led to him deciding to end the relationship.
