CitizenApp’s job search feature hailed as ‘great’ for the youth

A pastor and youth development advocate, Pastor Alexander King Doku, has hailed the innovation behind the newly launched CitizenApp by the government.

The CitizenApp, which brings together all of the government’s digital public services on one platform and can also be personalised with the Ghanacard for long-term use, was launched recently by the Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who urged Ghanaians to download it for a seamless digital experience.

Pastor Doku, highlighting the impact of Dr. Bawumia’s project on students of Islamic University during a book review on Friday, October 11, 2024, hailed the job search feature of the app.

“The CitizenApp, which has just been launched by the Vice President, is something really good for the country. I have gone through it and I am quite impressed.

“One feature that I really liked is the aspect that allows young people to search for jobs. What it means is that you don’t have to be writing application letters and moving around looking for jobs.

“The app allows you to make these inputs, and then it notifies you of vacancies available. This is really great for the youth,” he stated.
