SHS-3 Student reportedly Jailed 5yrs for stealing Pastor’s goat

Crime Check TV has uncovered a sad news from Adobewora Senior High School at Nyinahini. An SHS 3 student has reportedly been Jailed 5 years for Stealing a Goat. His classmate one Johnson Kuma threw more light in the comment section that the Goat was actually stolen in a Mission House. It belonged to a pastor.

An SHS 3 student from Adobewora Senior High School at Nyinahini has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for Stealing a Goat belonging to a pastor.

However, one of the victim’s teacher Mr. Bawa Simon Lari has boldly reported the Injustice to Crime Check. According to him, he feels that the student could have been counseled and re-integrated in the community than jailing him so harshly.

” My name is Bawa Simon Lari, a teacher at Adobewora Senior High school at Nyinahini. A form three student in my school has been jailed 5 years for stealing a Goat. He has been denied WASSCE and I think this student should have been rehabilitated and given good advice to fit in the society rather than this harsh sentence. I’m humbly pleading with you Sir to use your noble platform to help this poor student ”

The teacher shared with “Crime Check TV” which is an NGO.

“5yrs for stealing a goat? Much as he bears responsibility for his actions, having his education truncated because of a goat is painful.”

Crime Check TV reacted to the news after sharing it on social media.
