SHOCKING: Mozambican teenager buried in November 2021 ‘resurrects,’ returns home
A village in northern Mozambique has been thrown into a state of surprise after a teenager buried in November last year resurfaced.
Eurélia Manuel Benjamim, was presumed dead and buried in her home village of Lindi late last year.
She said she never died and had gone to work on her uncle’s farm for some months but the community is treating her return as a resurrection.
The BBC quotes a local administrator in Montepuez district as saying: “They conducted all the funeral ceremonies – the funeral, third day ceremony and visiting the grave – and the grave has not been breached.”
A team of experts is being sent to Lindi to investigate to see who or what was buried in the grave, the BBC Africa page report added.
