Shatta Wale Fires Charter House Over His Ban

Dancehall Artist Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale has fired back at charter house over his indefinite ban in the previous year.

Oganisers of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has banned two controversial dancehall musician and afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale over the brawl between the two during 2019 awards night.

In a social media post, he said: “Upon sober reflections of events in recent times and having made broader consultations, I wish to announce that I will not be part of the Ghana Music Awards scheme going forward. God bless!”

Organizers of VGMA opened nomination entry for this year’s edition. Charterhouse held a presser where they stated that the ban hasn’t been lifted on the two Artists. Because their issue is still pending at the court.

Shatta Wale threatened to close down Charterhouse with the support of the government. He also warned them to avoid mentioning his name at their meetings.
