See how Wanderlust team narrowly dodged a potential accident caused by a careless South African driver

One of the three Ghanaian cars involved in Wanderlust’s 30,000 km global expedition narrowly escaped an accident after being crossed by a careless driver in South Africa.

In a video shared on the group’s Facebook page, a truck driving ahead of Wanderlust’s Toyota Tacoma, while overtaking another car, failed to check the side mirror for the Tacoma, which was also attempting to overtake the truck.

The split-second incident saw the brave Ghanaian driver veering off the road to save the situation.

Intending to travel through 30 countries by road, the three-month journey commenced in Accra in September and has completed the first leg of the trip.

The group has already travelled through 15 countries and is still on course to arrive in Dubai, where the expedition will conclude with some fun activities.

In July this year, Wanderlust completed a 10,000 km journey by land from Ghana to London.

With the aim of putting Ghana on the global scene, Wanderlust, working with the Ghana Tourism Authority, continues to sell Ghana as a travel destination throughout its journey.
