Second-year KNUST student killed

A second-year Communication Design student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Charles Sekyi Nhyira, has died following a road accident at Taifa in the Greater Accra Region.

According to a report by adomonline.com, Charles was involved in the tragic accident on Thursday, September 12, 2024, while returning from a celebration of his birthday.

Eyewitnesses said excessive speeding on his part was a contributing factor to the crash, which left him with critical injuries.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Charles was set to begin his third year at KNUST before the unfortunate accident claimed his life, the report added.
