Saviour Church Of Ghana Commends President Akufo-Addo

The zonal pastor for Bono, Bono East and Ahafo Region of the Saviour Church of Ghana, Opanin Philip Appiah Boakye has eulogised the Commander in-Chief of Ghana Armed Forces and the first gentleman of the Republic of Ghana, who believes in leadership of service, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The commendation came when the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie paid a courtesy call on Saviour Church of Ghana at Fawohoyeden, one of the major towns in the Asunafo North Constituency of the Ahafo Region.

As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the religious organisation, Saviour Church of Ghana has started a Construction of Hospital at Fawohoyeden.

Pastor Apppiah added that, they cannot leave all the societal burden on the Government alone because the Church has an enormous role to play in Nation building. He advised all and sundry to obey all those in Authority.

“Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good.

But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer.

Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience.”- Romans 13:1-7.

Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie (MP) appreciated the commendation from Saviour Church of Ghana to President Akufo-Addo.

The minister donated some colossal amount of money for the Construction of the hospital.

He reiterated on a rounded point that if good Education is critical for development, quality health care is very imperative for our survival.

He gave a full assurance to the  leadership of the Church and the entire members of the president’s commitment to the successful completion of the hospital.

“The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Government shall continue to work assiduously to help the people of Ghana therefore, Ghanaians have to give President Akufo-Addo led government another term of office to continue the hundreds of projects been started by the Government.” The minister added.
