Salim Adams, Ibrahim Salifu, Richard Attah: Full list of 17 players Hearts of Oak are set to offload

Hearts of Oak are set to part ways with 17 players following the end of the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League.

Ibrahim Salifu, Salim Adams, and Richard Attah who have been part of the club’s recent success have been included in the list.

Salifu and Attah have been with the club for the last four seasons and played an integral role in ending the club’s trophy drought in 2021.

Whereas Salim Adams has spent two seasons with the side. He rose to fame during the club’s CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup campaign in 2022.

The trio’s spell at the club is set to come to a close after being included in the list of players who will depart ahead of the forthcoming season.

According to a report by Angel TV, a section of shortlisted players have either had their contracts terminated by the club or are close to reaching an agreement on contract termination.

Others have had their contracts run out and have refused to extend their deals.

The squad overhaul will make way for new arrivals during the off-season player transfers as Hearts of Oak set their eyes on building a formidable side for next season.

Hearts of Oak, Ghana’s second most successful club, narrowly escaped relegation in the just-ended campaign following a win over Bechem United on the final day to maintain their Premier League status.
