Sadio Mane transfer news: Senegal’s future at Bayern Munich in doubt

Sadio Mane’s future at Bayern Munich is in doubt after the Senegal forward was reportedly made available for transfer this summer.

Mane, 31, joined Bayern from Liverpool last summer for a fee of €41 million, but has struggled to make an impact in the Bundesliga.

He has scored just 12 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions, and has not been able to secure a regular starting place under new manager Thomas Tuchel.

The former Southampton forward has also been involved in a number of off-field incidents since his arrival at Bayern, including a confrontation with team-mate Leroy Sane in April.

According to Sky in Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, Mane is now likely to be sold by Bayern in the summer.

“Right now, this is not the Sadio Mane from Liverpool,” Plettenberg said. “You can really see the injury from him, right before the World Cup in Qatar, has done something to him.
