Sports journalist Saddick Adams has clarified that he has no intention of running for the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) presidency.

He stated that he currently lacks the necessary skills to effectively manage such a role but is open to gaining more experience in the future.

Adams, who works for Angel FM, explained that his insufficient experience has led him to decline various positions offered to him by the GFA in the past, allowing him to focus on his journalism career.

He mentioned that he might consider the presidency in the future if he acquires the required skills.

“I don’t think I have the right skills, and I’ve mentioned this on many occasions. I’ve been offered roles in the association [GFA], but I felt I didn’t have the skill set at the time. Mentally and morally, I wasn’t in the right environment or circumstance to accept, even though I didn’t have money and still don’t.

“I didn’t want to enter a system where I wasn’t fully prepared to fulfill my duties. So, I don’t want to become the GFA president now, but in the future, when I have the skills and mentality, I might consider it,” Saddick said in a video shared on his YouTube page.

Saddick Adams is a respected sports journalist in Ghana, known for holding sports authorities accountable through his critiques.

Some individuals believe that, with his skill set, he could effectively manage the GFA in the near future.
