Model and real-estate professional Jazzma Kendrick has accused American rapper Rick Ross of physically abusing her during their relationship.
Kendrick made the allegations in a series of Instagram Stories over the weekend, claiming that Ross injured her and that the incident contributed to her decision to end their relationship.
The 39-year-old shared photographs that she said showed an injury to her lip and described one of the images as being taken on the day she decided to leave the relationship.
In another post, Kendrick responded to a social media comment about her appearance by alleging that Ross had treated her as a “punching bag.”
She subsequently addressed her followers about the alleged incident and encouraged people experiencing abuse in relationships to prioritise their safety and leave situations where they are being harmed.
Kendrick later provided an update, thanking people who had contacted her following her allegations and saying that she was okay.
She said the alleged incident had occurred about a month before she spoke publicly about it, giving her time to process what she said had happened and begin recovering emotionally.
The allegations have generated reactions from several people in the entertainment industry, including rapper 50 Cent, who has a long-running public feud with Rick Ross.
50 Cent commented on the allegations on social media and said domestic violence should not be treated as a joke.
Kendrick and Ross have had an on-and-off relationship since they began appearing publicly together in 2025.
The pair separated in September 2025 before later reconciling. They were subsequently seen together at public events, including the 2026 BET Awards in June.
Kendrick’s latest allegations have brought renewed attention to their relationship, although the circumstances surrounding the claims have not been independently established.
