Richard Ofori emerges third best keeper in South African League

Ghana goalkeeper Richard Ofori has been named as the third best goalkeeper in the South African topflight league with nine games to the end of the 2018/2019 season.

The Ghanaian international is regarded as one of the kingpins for the despite Maritzburg’s abysmal campaign which has seen them seriously battling.

The Team of The Choice have amassed 14 points in 21 matches but the former Wa All Stars shot-stopper has seen his sparkling performance recognized and rated amongst the top three goalies in the PSL.

Soccer Laduma, reports that the Black Stars No.1 has kept seven clean sheets in 21 League games so far and he is third on the chart behind Patrick Tignyemb (Celtic), Darren Keet (Wits) who have all kept nine clean sheets as well as Ronwen Williams (SuperSport), and Siyabonga Mbatha (AmaZulu) with eight.

Ofori has been heavily been linked to giants as Orlando Pirates in the summer transfer.

He is currently valued at $700,000
