VIDEO: Young rapper Bra Alex reacts to song theft allegations

New internet discovered rapper Bra Alex has refuted claims and rumours that he stole his “confession” freestyle from a colleague rapper by name Everlasting Tiki.

Bra Alex who came into the limelight after his video went viral on social media where the rapper was seen in a heated freestyle session confessing his sins as a wizard.

Speaking on “Showbiz Agenda” on Accra based radio station Zylofon FM 102.1 with Samuel Atuobi Baah known as Sammy Flex, the rapper stated that he only heard his manager angrily talking about it but it isn’t true that he stole the song.

According to him, the song when played and compared to his was the same but the fact is, he never heard of it before he wrote his lyrics.

“The song didn’t come out so I never heard it. I even have the pen and paper I used to write my song but if he says I stole the song, I have recorded a new one. That one too he should come out and say I stole it. I never stole it and because it isn’t true that’s why he hasn’t come to the limelight” He narrated.

In addition to this, he said he hasn’t signed any contract or has done any paperwork with his manager but it is the manager who has vowed to help him because he is an Obuasi boy.

When he was asked about why he has recorded his second song in the same story line with the first one, he said that was what Ghanaians love because he did many story lines but that was the only story line that gained attention.

“I want to go to school because with J.H.S certificate, you are not highly respected. For my story line, I will change it if I see to it that Ghanaians are getting fed up with it” He concluded.
