The demise of former President JJ Rawlings has caught Ghanaians and the entire political world in deep grief. Many people have sent their condolence to the families of the deceased concerning how sorry and heartbrokened they are.

Many leaders and very influential personalities have added their voices for the past day.

Election campaigns as well as certain major events in the country towards Christmas have all been halted to pay our last respect to the great man and former president, Jerry John Rawlings.

Investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has also reacted to the sad-bearing issue by extending his condolences to the bereaved family.
