Radio presenter begs Nana Aba Anamoah, others for forgiveness

Michael Ola, a radio presenter with Accra-based Neat FM has rendered an unqualified apology to persons whose reputations were tarnished when he hosted slay queen Mona Gucci on his show.

Mona Gucci who appeared on the Entertainment Ghana show labeled Nana Aba Anamoah as the mother of slay queens in Ghana. She further alleged that the celebrated journalist has groomed countless ladies and has been pimping them to “big men”.

Few days after the interview dubbed ‘Secret Lives of Slay Queens’ went viral, courting controversy and rumoured lawsuit, the radio presenter has apologized.

His Facebook post sighted by GhanaWeb read:

I, Michael Kwaku Ola, host of Entertainment Gh, on Neat 100.9FM, wish to render an unqualified apology to all those who by virtue of their names being mentioned or some innuendos, pelted at them, feel hurt by the discussion we had on Entertainment Gh, yesterday, 25th May 2020. It was never the intention of myself nor my team to denigrate or disrespect any of the wonderful ladies whose names came up through our discussion.

I apologise for any harm or disconcertment that our discussion might have caused anyone. I am sorry. My team is sorry.
