President John Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama visit family of late businessman Asoma Banda

Following the passing of business mogul Alhaji Asoma Banda, many have extended their condolences to the bereaved family including President John Dramani Mahama.

President John Mahama on Sunday, March 2, 2025, visited the family of the late businessman to mourn with them.

The president was captured together with his brother, Ibrahim Mahama at the residence of the late businessman to pay their respects to the grieving family.

News of his death was shared on Facebook by Dele Momodu, a Nigerian publisher with close ties to the family on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Although the cause of his death has not been revealed, Alhaji Asoma was known to have been battling some ailment for a long time.

The late Alhaji Banda was a renowned entrepreneur, business magnate, and philanthropist, born in June 1933. He was the Chairman of Antrak Air, a fully Ghanaian-owned company in the aviation industry.
