Portable seeks Femi Falana’s legal aid in Ogun State case

It was reported that the Ogun State Planning and Development Permit Authority (OGPDPA) visited Portable’s bar to seal the properties, claiming they lacked approved permits and insufficient air space.

Unhappy with this action, Portable allegedly assaulted the officials. Subsequently, the police arrested nine of his associates and charged them with five counts, including armed violence, felony, obstruction, assault, and intent to kill.

The court granted each of them bail of ₦5 million, with sureties who are licensed bond agents registered with the state government.

On Wednesday, Portable made a public plea on his Instagram page for legal representation from a “fearless lawyer” like Falana.

He wrote, “God, all I want is a fearless lawyer. People like Daddy Falana, man of the people Ifalana.”
