Popular NPP personalities who followed Dr. Bawumia to file his nomination

Already, the Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has officially filed his nomination, as well as some two other aspirant-hopefuls.

As GhanaWeb’s Ishmael Batoma, who is at the Electoral Commission headquarters, reports, Dr. Bawumia arrived in the early hours of Monday morning, accompanied by several key figures in the party.

They include the 2024 Running Mate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh; the NPP General Secretary, John Frimpong Kodua; and the NPP National Chairman, Stephen Ntim.

The rest were Second Lady, Samira Bawumia; Majority Leader, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo-Markin; the Chief Executive Officer of the National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Alhaji Mustapha Abdul Hamid; and Henry Quartey, Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso Central Constituency.

Most attendees were clad in white, with a sea of party supporters in blue and white Lacoste shirts.
